JOHN F. REILLY, a witness for the State, after being duly sworn, testified as follows:

BY MR. ALCOCK:

Q. State your full name.

A. John F. Reilly.

Q. And by whom are you employed?

A. New Orleans Police Department.

Q. And how long have you been employed by the Police Department?

A. Twelve years.

Q. And in what capacity are you presently employed by the Police Department?

A. I'm assigned to the Bureau of Identification.

Q. And how long have you been assigned to the Bureau of Identification?

A. Twenty-two months.

Q. Generally, what are your duties as a member of the Bureau of Identification?

A. Take photographs, dust for latent fingerprints on various cases.

Q. Mr. Reilly, did you have occasion on February 22nd, 1967, to go to 3330 Louisiana Avenue Parkway?

A. I did.

Q. And is that in the City of New Orleans?

A. Yes, sir.

Q. And for what reason did you go to that location?

A. I was instructed to proceed to 3330 Louisiana Avenue Parkway to photograph the scene of a death.

Q. Did you go to that location?

A. I did.

Q. Did you take any photographs?

A. Yes, sir.

Q. Officer Reilly, I show you what has been previously marked for purposes of identification as State Exhibit 9 and I ask you to look at this picture and ask you if you recognize the scene as depicted in that picture?

A. Yes, sir, I do.

Q. Did you take this picture?

A. Yes, sir.

Q. What is the scene depicted in that picture?

A. It's the residence of 3328, 3330 Louisiana Avenue Parkway.

Q. And on what date did you take this picture?

A. It was taken on February 22nd, 1967.

Q. And at approximately what time of the day or night?

A. It was approximately 1:00 PM.

Q. How do you identify this picture?

A. I identify this picture by the stamp and my signature on the reverse side of the photograph.

Q. Does that picture faithfully depict the scene as you saw it on that day?

A. Yes, sir.

Q. Did you develop and print this photograph yourself?

A. Yes, sir.

Q. Tender the witness.

The State has no further use of this witness and ask that he be taken from under the rule.
